More details will be available to those who sign up for this bird walk. The website shows an entrance fee\, but the entrance booth is usually closed during the week. The entrance fee is as follows: Kendall County residents – free; Fridays are $15.00 for non-residents and $5.00 for seniors (65 and older). This area is great for ducks and other water birds that are here in the winter. There are also pipits in the short grass and sparrows in the weedy areas. The bird walk is limited to 15 people.  If you have any questions or need to cancel after signing up\, contact Sherie Gee (Outings@bexaraudubon.org).
