DESCRIPTION:Government Canyon State Natural Area (Kallison Unit)\n12861 Galm Rd\nSan Antonio\, TX 78254\nFriday\, May 26 | 8:00 AM\nMeet leader Derrick Mims (derricklmims@gmail.com or 757/775-5660) in the main parking area\, near the visitors center\, at Government Canyon State Natural Area for a morning bird walk to the old Kallison Ranch area. This area is normally not open to the public\, so it is limited to 15. Bring water. Sign up here. \nAll participants will be required to pay the standard daily entrance fee when they arrive ($6/person over the age of 12). It is HIGHLY recommended that all participants make advanced day-use reservations for the event day and print them out\, if possible\, which makes getting everyone through the fee booth quicker and guarantees entry into the Natural Area.
