Meet leader Kenneth Butler at the parking lot of the Buckhorn Golf Course in Comfort. The adjacent water treatment ponds are where we will do our birding. Please park on the gravel area near the paved lot and not in any spaces reserved for golfers. This lot is adjacent to the gate where we can enter the pond area.
For the second part of the outing, we will drive to James Kiehl Park and continue birding. If you are not able to stay for the entire outing, we will always be near the parking lot so you can leave whenever needed.
There are restrooms at James Kiehl Park and the golf course. Please bring binoculars, water, and sun/insect protection. Wear closed-toed shoes and a hat.
