The Bexar Audubon South Central Texas Community Mini-grant Program is open for applications for calendar year 2025. This program provides grants from $100-$1000 for community projects in our 10-county region that further the goals of Bird City Texas. The goal is to encourage people to protect birds and their habitats while increasing public awareness of the benefits of bird conservation with “hands in dirt” projects.

Participants have come from schools, HOAs, PTAs, nonprofits, NGOs, and religious organizations - basically, any civic-minded group that embraces the importance of nature and has a platform for sharing their passion on a public scale. The program is open ended.
